Big Ass Fans names STOBER 2024 Supplier of the Year

Representatives from Big Ass Fans recently visited STOBER Drives, Inc. to present the 2024 Supplier of the Year Award. STOBER was also the award recipient in 2021.

STOBER was recognized for excellence, partnership, and commitment to BAF’s company values—making the world healthier, safer, and more productive.

“Your team consistently demonstrates dedication to not just meeting, but exceeding expectations,” said Tara Ferrell, BAF Senior Director of Global Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Logistics.  

In addition to STOBER’s exceptional service, Ferrell recognized STOBER’s 100 percent on-time delivery for the last two years while also delivering quality products.

“We believe our overall partnership with STOBER stands testament to the effective collaboration and mutual respect that we have for one another,” she said.

Because of STOBER’s commitment to quality, delivery, and service, BAF was able to ship an additional 1500 fans over their forecast in just a couple months.  More importantly, the competitor fans their customer was using prior to switching to BAF were a safety issue with fans falling and injuring their employees, so the expedited shipments were able to prevent unnecessary risk.

“It’s more than just making a gearbox or making a fan.  In this case, all the hard work put in prevented harm in facilities,” Ferrell said.
