The CuMaster from BOSCHERT is a highly dynamic, high-precision copper punching machine that processes long copper, aluminum and steel bars. The machine manufacturer relies on right-angle planetary gearboxes and right-angle servo gearboxes from STOBER, as well as on the drive specialist’s new rack and pinion drives. Compared to the previously installed spindle drives, these components are considerably more flexible, more compact, faster and more dynamic, which adds to the system’s competitive edge. Critical factors for the collaboration were quality, the good price-performance ratio and a wide portfolio from a single source.

Quick Delivery: Build & Ship in 1 Day

Carolina Motion Control had a customer, Spartanburg Steel Products, in a breakdown situation over the Thanksgiving holiday. They had a roll-feeder application where a unit had failed. STOBER was expanding to our second facility. Operations were shut down for the holiday, and all the parts were scattered around the new facility. Patrick McLees contacted STOBER because he needed the part quickly. He knew STOBER would be willing to respond and would have quick delivery. He was correct; as STOBER had the part built and turned around in a few hours. The warranty offered by STOBER Drives is unsurpassed.

Emergency Support: No Expediting Fee

Aplix Inc, a manufacturer of diaper fasteners, contacted STOBER the weekend of January 13. They had a machine broken down and needed a solution fast! Our emergency support was ready to help them get back up and running. The team built a custom servo gearhead and arranged to have it delivered just a few hours later. Brian Pittman, Maintenance Supervisor, was absolutely thrilled with not only our emergency support but also with our fast delivery.
