If you’ve scrolled through Amazon Prime’s movie list lately, you’ve probably noticed the new Christmas movie release, “Candy Cane Lane.” If you’ve watched it, did you recognize the STOBER gearbox!?
In the movie, Chris Carver, played by Eddie Murphy, makes a pact with an elf in an effort to win the neighborhood’s annual Christmas decorating contest. The elf casts a spell that brings the 12 days of Christmas to life, bringing chaos to the town. The man’s wife, Carol, played by Tracee Ellis Ross, is pressured to get a promotion at work due to Carver losing his job shortly before the holidays.
At the 6:36 mark of the movie, the STOBER gearbox makes its debut, featured in a scene at Carol’s workplace, SHYP Distribution. As the Senior Logistics Manager, she describes her workplace as the “best distribution center in the West,” which we like to think is directly related to their use of STOBER’s reliable gearboxes!
Enjoy the movie and don’t forget to research more about our tough NEMA gearboxes that are backed by a three-year warranty.
