Shelley Duncan, a utility employee on the STOBER assembly team, has worked at STOBER for about three years and will be retiring on May 31. Shelley says she is glad that STOBER hired her and would stay longer if she were younger.
“I’ve learned a whole lot during my time at STOBER,” Shelley said. Prior to this position, she worked in a customer service job, so the atmosphere was different.
Shelley said the people at STOBER are the best part of the job, and she’s thankful for the support STOBER employees receive to learn new things.
After her retirement, Shelley plans to do whatever she wants to, and even has a trip to Iceland planned.
Her advice to new STOBER employees? “If you don’t have anything left to do, then find something to stay busy. There’s always something new to learn at STOBER.”
Shelley’s last day at STOBER is May 31 and we are happy to help her celebrate her retirement!
