Each year, our Rep Awards highlight the teams and individuals who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service, grow their territories, and strengthen STOBER’s presence across North America. 2025 Representatives of the Year
Each year, STOBER recognizes two individuals whose excellence stands out across all teams: the Motion Control Rep of the Year and the Power Transmission Rep of the Year. These winners demonstrate unmatched drive, technical skill, customer commitment, and a deep understanding of the STOBER values.
This year’s honorees are truly exceptional.
Motion Control Rep of the Year: Chris Keller
If anyone was born to sell STOBER products, it seems it was Chris Keller! He grew up less than an hour from STOBER’s headquarters in Pforzheim, Germany, and his grandfather shares a name with our mascot, Gerhardt. Keller’s path to success is remarkable. Though new to both sales representation and the Arizona market, Chris has more than doubled his territory’s sales in just three years — and increased activity tenfold.
His impact is driven by creativity and relationship building. Chris launched a monthly networking event that brings together competitive distributors, reps, OEM engineers, and machine builders. He has become a trusted resource in the region, known for connecting the right partners to the right opportunities.
“Chris is incredibly skilled at building relationships with the key distributors within his territory and understanding who our best partner is for each target account, all without upsetting any of the others,” said Tony Donahue, Motion Control Regional Manager.
Chris has mastered STOBER’s product offering while knowing when to bring in technical experts to support customers. His collaborative style, professionalism, and commitment to finding the best solutions make him an exceptional advocate for STOBER.
“I can’t think of a better advocate for STOBER, or a better example of what a rep should be,” Donahue said. “He certainly makes my job easier. We are lucky to have Chris as part of our team.”
Power Transmission Rep of the Year: Scott Olmsted
When STOBER partnered with Scott Olmsted and Driven Sales in 2023, his extensive industry knowledge and curiosity made him an immediate standout — earning him Rookie of the Year in his first year. Since then, Scott has continued to raise the bar.
In 2025, Scott demonstrated remarkable work ethic, spening countless Saturdays providing on‑site training, installation support, and hands-on troubleshooting for his customers. His dedication directly contributed to securing the largest cLEAN System end user Project to date — totaling 57 motors — and delivering three complete systems to another customer.
“These technical wins and deep-rooted customer relationships resulted in a massive 123% increase in his territory sales,” said Mark Sticklen, Power Transmission Regional Manager.
Scott blends strategic sales leadership with roll‑up‑your-sleeves technical support. His partnership mindset and relentless drive make him an invaluable asset to STOBER and the customers he serves.
“As he looks toward 2026, Scott remains focused on the drive required to maintain this level of excellence,” said Sticklen, noting that his success came from immense effort and his commitment to “keep the foot on the pedal.”
