Our team does it again–working together to help support our community! Our HR team prepared sack lunches last week and raised more than $800 to benefit Christy Wilson Kirk, daughter of Bill & Cheryl. Cheryl’s Cleaning Service takes care of our custodial needs, and when our HR team found out about her daughter battling melanoma cancer, they knew they wanted to help.
Christy has been unable to return to work since her last surgery, so raising funds to help with her medical expenses and support during her recovery made sense. Employees had their choice of a chicken salad sandwich or grilled chili dog with chips, a pickle, and a cookie for $5.
Stephanie Berry presented Cheryl with a check for Christy. We appreciate everyone’s support and participation!
