What is the culture like at STOBER Drives in Maysville, Kentucky? What makes it so unique?

At the very heart of our culture is undoubtedly the most important thing: family. We value our employees and consider them to be members of our big family. “I appreciate how family-focused STOBER is in how they encourage a family first environment. It means a lot to work for a company who appreciates that,” stated Sandra Grooms, Sales Administrator.

Our workplace, in both our offices and shops, is flexible and fun. We want our employees to be self-directed and enjoy showing up for work every day. That’s why we offer flexible working time, play games during meetings, encourage socialization amongst coworkers, and have events such as free lunches to show our appreciation for our dedicated employees.

At STOBER, we believe in continuous improvement and promote lifelong learning. We do this by offering personal development programs, including apprenticeships, job shadowing, tuition reimbursement, and Dale Carnegie courses, among a variety of other training opportunities. “I can unequivocally say that STOBER has given me numerous opportunities to grow and develop my career with them over the years,” said Jamie Collins, Order Fulfillment Specialist.

We also encourage our employees to maintain their health in all aspects of their lives, whether it be physical, emotional, or financial. We have quarterly wellness challenges, a walking group, workplace massages, junk-free vending machines, free fruit for breakfast, financial consultations, a therapeutic office dog named Lily, and so much more.
