Assembler
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs a wide range of Assembly duties as required by daily business conditions. Reports to Plant Manager and Coached by Supervisor or Team Leader.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform assembly operations on Stober units, MGS and other
- Execute computer transactions & associated paperwork to update order status
- Perform Housekeeping duties
- Coordinate daily tasks with other Team members
- Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Manager
Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: None required, related experience preferred
Skills: Computer
Other
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Mechanical ability and familiarity with hand tools
- Ability work from written instructions
- Quality minded with the ability to inspect own work
- Ability to work well with others in a Team environment
- Is a self starter who can perform without close supervision

Warehouse
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs general Warehousing duties as required by daily business conditions. Reports to 2nd Shift Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Receive & stock products
- Perform cycle count inventory
- Pick parts for Assembly and/or Shipping
- Prepare & package parts, units, and products for shipment
- Execute computer transactions & associated paperwork to update inventory status, e.g., receiving, picking, etc.
- Perform Housekeeping duties
- Coordinate daily tasks with other Team members
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Electrical Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Electrical Engineer (EE) is focused on specific electromechanical devices (Servo systems, consisting of gearing, electric motors, electronic amplifiers, PLCs and bus systems). The EE will have both theoretical and “hands-on” involvement with the servo systems. All necessary information and tools will be provided. The EE will apply his/her knowledge by training customers and co-workers in servo system theory and operation. The EE will assist customers with applications, adjustments and service of servo systems. All duties are performed under the Quality System guidelines of ISO 9001.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Execute assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner
- Set a positive example in terms of performance, tact and professionalism with all customers and co-workers
- Assist customers in the understanding of and use of servo systems, and in solving application challenges
- Ensure order entry accuracy to facilitate effective product processing so we always exceed customer expectations
- Support Product Management with special project support
- Proficient in sizing all Stober product lines and matching them to other system components
- Conduct component and system calculations
- Support outside sales with competitor cross over and maintain competitive data base
- Modify or create 2D drawings and 3D CAD files for components and assemblies
- Accesses cabinets, of up to 10 feet above floor level, to reach materials
- Periodically checks work area to maintain a neat and orderly work environment
- Observes company policies related to dress, appearance, attendance, etc.
- Some travel is required. Part of the initial training will take place in Germany
- Job duties are subject to change as directed by management
Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required
Education: BSEE in electrical engineering
Experience:
- Co-op or other experience in an electromechanical field is a plus
- Ability to use both 2D and 3D CAD is a plus
- Solid Works Experience is a plus
- German language skills a plus, but certainly not required
